Winner of the 5th edition of MTN Hitmaker reality show, Kurl Songx has revealed that Ghanaian rapper and SarkCess music boss, Sarkodie made him who he is now.
In an interview with Ghanaian Celebrity Blogger, ZionFelix, he noted that his hit song “Jennifer Lomotey” featuring Sarkodie paved a big way for him.
Zionfelix the host asked how he feels about people always ascribing his success to Sarkodie even though he is doing a lot of good work on his own, Kurl Songx posited that he is not worried about it all.
He added that before many other people in the music space, including Sarkodie himself, became the huge brands they are today, they had some help from people and as such is very appreciative that Sarkodie gave him the needed push and a helping hand.
Sarkodie gave Kurl a big blow a few years ago after he delivered a very controversial verse on his “Jennifer Lomotey” song which seeks to attack the credibility of ‘Krobo’ ladies.
Notwithstanding, Kurl magically maintained a perfect form since till date.
He has been tipped as one of the most prolific singers in Ghana.
